I'm Michael. I'm a photographer and I work across Derby, Nottingham and of course further afield!
I own and operate Michael Rowlands photography and tend to be the first port of call for all commissions, questions and projects.

Personally, I love shooting portraits! Portraits of all kinds.
Studio portraits, environmental portraits, even dog portraits and once.... a gold fish!

People talk about 'styles' of photography. I tend to favour a creative, editorial feel. Bringing a real and honest element into my work. This means that the portraits I'm honoured enough to shoot are true reflections of sitters rather than overly 'photoshopped' interpretations

Commercially, I and the team bring a creative element to commissions and have a wealth of experience across many application of photography in the commercial world.
