Blogging and content creation is one of those things that, in order to create traction on social media or for SEO growth, you just have to pay attention to.

Now I’m not going to sit here and say I’m the expert at it. I’m far from consistent or even blogging about the right things to tell you what to write. But the important ‘take away’  from this is blogging and content creation, online PR and articles writing is a powerful way to drive traffic to your website.

Great articles and well written content, combined with social sharing and even content syndication not only aids with Search engine optimisation but it also gets you in front of people.

A post on LinkedIn, containing a link to the source could get seen by the right person which in turn could lead to a contract. All generated from the simple act of you putting your thoughts down.

Why am I blogging about blogging you may ask?
Well I tend to shoot a lot of editorial images that get used alongside copy for blogs, PR articles and social content. From ‘apprentice of the year’ to ‘fundraiser of the month’, interesting and positive web copy is a fast way to grow your online presence.

Now I get involved as it’s important not just to share the copy, but to add weight with positive images. Yes, you can grab stock images or you can shoot them from your mobile phone, but my question is, why spend ages ages creating amazing, well written and engaging copy, only to add a ‘throw away image’ to it? When shared across social platforms, the image tends to be the one thing that gets pulled in along with the title and this then gets shared in the post link. If the image is un interesting, or a little dull and un inspiring, there is a great chance the article will get skipped. All your hard work and effort, gone. wasted.

So voila. This is where I can help.
