Workshops?

📸 The real deal: Facilitation sessions (Not just “workshops”)

Workshops are a thing.

  • Many photographers offer them and many are great.
  • You can also find the same info on YouTube if you’re looking for specific insights.

Why photography is awesome.

  • It’s a fantastic hobby that takes you around the world.
  • It helps you connect with strangers and explore new places.

But let’s be honest… your fancy camera can sometimes be confusing and that tempting “auto” button sure does help. However, there really is another world!

“Workshops”? Yes… But not really.

  • Do I offer sessions? Well… yes. I just call them “facilitation sessions.”
  • You’re not here to “shoot like me” or “copy my method.”
  • You need your own style, your own interests and your own photographic voice.

What These Sessions Are About

  • Empowerment: It’s all about giving you confidence to do what you want.
  • Real talk & practical insight: You’ve got the camera, now use it!

How a Session Works

  • Low-fi & relaxed:
    • Tea, chat and a calm environment.
    • Basics covered, then we’ll go shoot some stuff.
    • As much jargon free as possible. (Jargon makes people sound like right plonkers!)
  • Hands‑on problem solving:
    • You decide: studio work? street scenes? portraits?
    • We shoot together. I’m there to help troubleshoot and experiment with you.
  • Flexible & tailored:
    • Studio or street setting.
    • Based entirely on getting you where you want to be and yes, your budget.

Call It What You Like

  • A mentoring session?
  • A hand holding photo journey?
  • A chat with a friend who’s maybe been through the same photographic challenge than you?

So… Are You In?

…then say bonjour!
Let’s go make some photographs.
